Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) is connected to the city by Airport Train, which is known as Airport Rail Link.
The railway line consists of 8 stations – Suvarnabhumi, Lat Krabang, Ban Thap Chang, Hua Mak, Ramkhamhaeng, Makkasan, Ratchaprarop and Phaya Thai.
There's no non-stop express train service anymore. Therefore all the trains stop at every station and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
Airport Rail Link is linked with both the metro (MRT) via Makkasan station and the sky train (BTS) via Phaya Thai Station. It covers a distance of 28 km. The ticket costs from 15 to 45 THB, depending on the distance. Trains run daily from 05.30 am until midnight.
By far, taking Airport Rail Link is the cheapest and easiest way to get to the city centre.

Once you arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, arrivals are on the 2nd floor. For taking Airport Rail Link you need to go down by the escalator or lift.
The Airport Rail Link station is located on B Level, two floors below the arrival hall.
Just follow the signs “Train to City”, everything is clearly marked.
On the B floor you will see few currency exchange booths. In case you would like to change some cash, skip the banks as the rates here are not that good. Recommend Super Rich (Green) and Super Rich (Orange) both give you the best rates.
